Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Aloha Window Bros ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit alohawindowbros.com (the "Site") or request a quote for window cleaning, screen cleaning, or solar panel cleaning services in Ventura County, California.

We're a locally owned home services business — not a tech company — and we keep this policy in plain English so you can actually read it. By using our Site or services, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Who We Are

Aloha Window Bros is a window cleaning company serving homeowners and businesses across Ventura County, California, including Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, Newbury Park, Camarillo, Ventura, Oxnard, Simi Valley, and surrounding areas. You can reach us using the contact information at the bottom of this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

When you request a quote, schedule a service, or contact us, you may give us:

  • Your name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Service address (so we know where to come)
  • Details about the property and the work you want done
  • Any other information you choose to share in a message, form, or scheduling tool

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically by analytics and advertising tools, including:

  • IP address and approximate geographic location
  • Browser type, operating system, and device type
  • Pages visited, time on page, and referring URL
  • Date and time of access
  • Interactions such as button clicks, form submissions, and scroll behavior

Cookies and tracking technologies

The Site uses cookies, pixels, and similar technologies — most notably Google Analytics 4 and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel — to understand how the Site is used and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. See sections 5, 6, and 7 below for details and how to opt out.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to quote requests and questions
  • Schedule, perform, and follow up on services
  • Send appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Process payments and keep records of jobs we've completed
  • Improve the Site, our services, and customer experience
  • Measure how our website and ads perform, including which pages and campaigns lead to quote requests
  • Show ads to people who have visited our Site or who look similar to our existing customers (retargeting and lookalike audiences) on Meta and Google platforms
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and agreements

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the people and services we need to run the business:

  • Service providers — companies that help us operate, including our scheduling tool (Calendly), email and messaging providers, payment processors, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, and website hosting.
  • Advertising and analytics partners — Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook/Instagram) and Google LLC (Google Analytics, Google Ads), which receive certain data through pixels and tags on the Site so we can measure performance and reach people who may want our services.
  • Legal and safety — we may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or property.
  • Business transfers — if Aloha Window Bros is ever sold, merged, or reorganized, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Advertising

Our website uses the Meta Pixel (ID 2085643305314161). The Pixel is a small piece of code from Meta that loads on each page of the Site. It allows us to:

  • Measure the results of our Facebook and Instagram ads
  • See which pages people visit after clicking an ad and whether they request a quote
  • Show ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited our Site (this is called retargeting)
  • Build Custom Audiences from website visitors and customer lists, and create Lookalike Audiences of people similar to our existing customers

Information shared with Meta through the Pixel can include your IP address, browser/device information, the pages you viewed on our Site, and actions you took (like clicking a phone number or quote button). Meta uses this information under its own Data Policy.

You can control how Meta uses your data for advertising in your Facebook Ad Preferences or Instagram privacy settings. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising industry-wide at optout.aboutads.info and networkadvertising.org/choices.

6. Google Analytics & Google Ads

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-MRSP8D9CQG) to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you view, how long you spend on the Site, the type of device and browser you use, and your approximate location based on IP address. We may also use Google Ads remarketing to show ads on Google's network to people who have visited the Site.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the official Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on, and you can manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.

7. Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. The Site uses:

  • Essential cookies needed for the Site to load and function properly
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to measure traffic and usage
  • Advertising cookies (Meta Pixel, Google Ads) to measure and personalize ads

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. If you block cookies, parts of the Site may not work as well.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You can ask us, at any time, to:

  • Confirm what personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that's inaccurate
  • Delete information we no longer need to keep
  • Stop sending you marketing messages

To make a request, email us at alohawindowbros@gmail.com or call (805) 341-4121. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you specific rights in addition to the ones above, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion of that information, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We do not sell personal information for money. However, the use of advertising pixels (such as the Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags) may be considered "sharing" under the CPRA. To opt out of this kind of sharing, email alohawindowbros@gmail.com with the subject line "Do Not Share My Personal Information", or use the opt-out tools listed in sections 5 and 6.

Visitors from outside the U.S. (GDPR)

We primarily serve customers in California. If you visit the Site from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar privacy laws, our legal basis for processing your information is your consent (for analytics and advertising cookies), our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Site, and where applicable the performance of a contract (when you book a service). You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable physical, technical, and administrative measures to protect the information we collect — including secure hosting, HTTPS encryption on the Site, and limited access to customer records. No method of transmission or storage on the internet is ever 100% secure, however, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services and Site are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party sites we don't operate, such as Google Maps, Calendly, or our social media profiles. We're not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies separately.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our business or the law changes. When we do, we'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
